MCC was selected to launch Caldera House, a new ultra-luxury slope-side resort in the heart of Jackson Hole, Wyoming in June 2018 and tasked with raising awareness through media coverage designed to drive immediate summer bookings while simultaneously seeding stories for winter ski season. With an aggressive strategy, we lined up an exclusive with T Style, the New York Times digital platform, to break the news of the property followed immediately by feature stories in GOOP, Financial Times How To Spend It, Vogue.com, Urban Daddy, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Wallpaper.com, Robb Report.com among other outlets. Within that short window, we simultaneously built a robust pipeline of press to break during the fall and winter seasons including Bloomberg Pursuits, The Coveteur, Forbes.com, Monocle, Porter, Modern Luxury to name a few. This tenacious and strategic approach has established Caldera House, a property with no brand affiliation or marketing, as a top ski destination in the country, breaking through in a market well established by leading luxury branded hotels.
